Hungarian National museum ist the largest museum in Hungary. It was built on 8000 square metres.

Adults 1,000 HUF; Students (aged 6-26) 500 HUF; Seniors (aged 62-70) 500 HUF

Admission free: (but a ticket is required)

Museum of Fine Arts (SzĂ©pmƱvĂ©szeti MĂșzeum)

The Spanish collection are one of the largest outside Spain and the Italian collection (Titian, Giogioni, some works by Leonardo). Other highlights are the Egyptian, Greek and Roman displays.

This is one of Europe's largest museum of its kind. It is situated opposite the Budapest Parliament.

Hungarian natural history museum is the largest natural history museum in Hungary.

The museum is part of the Budapest History Museum. ItÂŽs situated in a former Trinitarian monastery. It was built in the 18th century and was transformed into a Baroque mansion later. The museum has a great collection of paintings and graphic art.

The museum is situated behind the Great Synagogue.

The museum is closed on Saturdays.

This is a realy exciting museum for boys. They can wonder old cars, motorcycle, tram and ship models. Its railway model system is unique in the world.

Hungarian railway museum (Magyar VasĂșttörtĂ©neti Park)

The museum is very popular and searched by families with kids. Visitors can drive the locomotives themselves. Don't miss the elegant restaurant car of the famous Orient express from 1912.

Underground Railway Museum (Földalatti VasĂști MĂșzeum)

This is small museum in the metro station underpass is museum of the history of the first railcar-driven metro line in continental Europe.
